Distance Learning Penn State Scandal

Twitter is almost information overload. You get a lot of good articles and peoples opinions, but there is a lot of crap on there too. I think some of the jokes are not really appropriate. Although with all the social networks there is no reason for people to be uninformed. You cannot sweep stuff under the rug.

Everything is being blown up now, but it seems like there was very little information about this when things were starting to be uncovered. The money and power surrounding Penn State football was a big part of this, but the ability to get information out to the public has increased.

Unfortunately with issues of rape there is a group of people that want to blame or accuse the victims. I think many women will not come forward because they are scarred to be criticized or given part of the blame or even not believed. These young boys may have felt the same way or even there families. They may have been scared and ashamed just as many women are left feeling. I see many people disgusted and so mad at the accused, but it takes a huge blow up like this.

I think many people involved need to start taking some personal responsibility. Mcqueary has all these different scenarios on what happened. Joe Paterno is acting like he doesn't remember and knows nothing. The football became more important than the well being of people. Maybe we all need to take a step back and figure out what is really important in our lives and the people we care about.
